The restaurant operates more like eating at someone’s home than a typical hotel dining room. Mrs. Colovic (I assume that’s who she was) seemed to know exactly what everyone needed before they asked. Breakfast isn’t a buffet situation — it’s more like she decides what you’re having based on what’s fresh that day, and honestly, her judgment is better than mine would be anyway. The evening meals lean heavily on local ingredients, which sounds cliché but actually makes a difference when you taste it.

This three-star place earned its 9.1 rating by doing the basics exceptionally well rather than trying to impress with unnecessary extras. It’s the kind of spot where you end up staying longer than planned because leaving feels like abandoning a comfortable routine. The Colovic family clearly understands that most people come to Zlatibor to disconnect a bit, and they’ve created an environment that supports that without making a big deal about it. If you’re looking for a spa or fancy cocktail bar, look elsewhere — but if you want a genuine base for exploring the mountains with people who actually care about your experience, this works perfectly.
