Svetogorska street isn’t exactly the main drag, which honestly works in your favor. You’re about a 10-minute walk from Zlatibor’s center, but far enough away to avoid the tourist crowds that can get pretty intense during peak season. I mean, you still get easy access to the mountain trails and that famous Zlatibor air everyone talks about, but you also get to retreat to something quieter. The local buses run regularly if you don’t feel like walking, and there’s parking right there if you’ve driven up from Belgrade.

The Space

My room was surprisingly spacious for what you’d expect at this price point. The furnishings are clean and modern without trying too hard — think IKEA meets mountain cabin, but in a good way. There’s also this little bakery about five minutes away that does incredible burek — honestly better than most restaurant versions I’ve tried.
