— The hotel
Snow Zlatibor, Spa & Wellness
First Impressions
Walking into Snow Zlatibor, Spa & Wellness on the eighth floor, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect from an apartment-style hotel. But you know what? This place surprised me in the best way possible. The views from up there are something else — you’re basically looking out over the entire Zlatibor plateau, and on clear days, it feels like you can see forever across those rolling hills.
The Space
The apartment setup works really well here, especially if you’re staying more than a couple nights. Each unit has this proper kitchen area where you can actually cook something decent — not just reheat leftovers. I mean, the local markets in Zlatibor have amazing fresh produce, so it’s nice to have the option. The room itself feels spacious without being overwhelming, and they’ve managed to keep that mountain lodge vibe without going overboard on the rustic decor.
The Spa Experience
Here’s where this four-star place really shines — the spa facilities are genuinely impressive for a property this size. The wellness center has this sauna that I kept coming back to after long days hiking around the area. They’ve got treatment rooms too, and the staff actually knows what they’re doing (not always a given in mountain towns, if we’re being honest). The whole spa area has this calm, professional feel that you’d expect from much larger hotels.
Location & Getting Around
Being right in the heart of Zlatibor means you’re walking distance from pretty much everything — the main pedestrian zone, shops, that famous Zlatibor cheese market. Parking can be a bit tricky in this area, but the hotel sorts that out for you. What I really appreciated was how quiet it stays at night despite being so central. The building’s design and that eighth-floor location kind of insulate you from the street noise below.
Why Guests Love It
Look, a 9.8 rating doesn’t happen by accident. This place gets the details right — from the way housekeeping maintains the apartments to how the front desk handles the little requests that pop up during mountain getaways. The restaurant downstairs serves solid regional food (try the kajmak if you haven’t already), and room service actually arrives while it’s still hot. It’s one of those places where you settle in quickly and start thinking about when you can come back.
