This four-star property sits right in the sweet spot where you’re close enough to walk to the main tourist areas, but far enough away that you’re not dealing with crowds right outside your window. I mean, you can actually hear the wind through the pine trees at night, which is something you don’t get everywhere up here.

The Accommodations

My room had this perfect balance of mountain lodge charm and modern comfort that’s honestly hard to pull off. The furniture felt solid and thoughtfully chosen — not that generic hotel stuff you see everywhere.
